Orli stat is a long-acting, powerful and specific gastrointestinal lipase inhibitor. It inactivates the above two enzymes by forming covalent bonds with lipase active serine sites in the stomach and small intestine. The inactivated enzymes cannot decompose the fats in food into free fatty acids and glycerol that can be absorbed by the human body, thus reducing fat intake and weight loss. In addition, it has been found that orli stat inhibits intestinal absorption of cholesterol by inhibiting niemann-pickC1-like1 (NPC1L1).
