Palonosetron hydrochloride, an anti-nausea and vomiting drug, is a novel high-selectivity and high-affinity 5-HT3 receptor antagonist, which blocks the presynaptic 5-HT of central peripheral neurons of the gag reflex. receptors excitate and directly affect the central nervous system within 5-HT. The impulse generated by receptor excitation acts through the vagus nerve to the posterior area, blocking the vagus nerve endings in the intestine and preventing the signal from being transmitted to 5-HT. receptor trigger zone, which reduces the incidence of nausea and vomiting.
