Summary
Ropivaca hydrochloride is a long-acting local anesthetic of the amide class. Its liposolubility is greater than that of lidocaine and less than that of bupivacaine, and its anesthesia intensity is 8 times that of procaine. Due to its local anesthetic effect on the products of liver metabolism, its effect is relatively long-lasting. Mainly used for regional block anesthesia and epidural anesthesia, for postoperative and delivery pain relief.
Purpose
Ropivacaine hydrochloride is suitable for:
Surgical anesthesia
Epidural anesthesia, including cesarean section
Subarachnoid anesthesia
Regional block for acute pain control
