Fenrocoxib is an important non steroidal anti-inflammatory veterinary drug, which mainly works by selectively inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins mediated by cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) to block the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins, thereby producing antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory effects in Chemicalbook.
